Pattern Corrections
Spooky Shelfie Quilt & Kit
The Pink Schoolhouse print is included in the manufacturer-created Spooky Schoolhouse Fat Quarter pack and may be included in some quilt kits, but it is not used in the quilt.
Depending on your point of view, the Kid’s fabric print (Fabric A) may appear to be Ivory or Light Pink; it’s just a matter of opinion as to what to call the color of that fabric.
Page 27 Row 2 Step 3: Measurement should be 1 ½″ x 12 ½″ not 2″ x 12 ½″.
Picture Frame Block: The Fabric N pieces are not included in the Fabric N Fat Quarter cutting guide. There is enough fabric to cut the pieces. You can also cut them from Fabric U fat quarter if you prefer.
June Bag Pattern
There is no step eight listed. The steps are incorrectly numbered. All instructions are there, but step 9 should have read step 8 and so forth.
Saturday Duffle Bag Pattern
The printer cut off the word “fold” from the edge of the pattern. The pocket piece should be cut on the fold of the fabric.
In an early copy of the PDF pattern ONLY (printed patterns and current PDF’s are correct)- under Option 2, cutting directions- correct dimensions should be:
Medium Bag
From Bag Outside Fabric:
- 2 pieces 15 ½” x 17”
- 2 pieces 10” x 10”
From Bag Lining Fabric:
- 2 pieces 15 ½” x 17”
- 2 pieces 10” x 10”
Large Bag
From Bag Outside Fabric:
- 2 pieces 19” x 20”
- 2 pieces 12” x 12”
From Bag Lining Fabric:
- 2 pieces 19” x 20”
- 2 pieces 12” x 12”
From Shape Flex Interfacing Cut:
Small Bag: 2 pieces 12 ½” x 15”
Medium Bag: 2 pieces 15 ½” x 17”
Large Bag: 2 pieces 19” x 20”
Spooky Sampler Quilt Pattern
Ghost Block Step 4:
Add the directions:
Trim the ghost/side border section to 6 ½″ wide before you sew the 1 ½″ x 6 ½″ piece to the bottom of the block.
Halloween Haberdashery Quilt
On Page one Pumpkin Cutting Directions:
1 piece 2” x 1 5” (background fabric) – should be 2″ x 5″ (not 15)
Reading Pillow PDF
An earlier version of the pattern listed the fabric requirements for the LARGE pillow incorrectly. It should be ¾ yard for the pillow front, not ½ yard. This is only for the Larger Pillow and only on the PDF.
Gingham Daydream Quilt
The PREVIOUS (2015) Printed Version lists a twin-size quilt as 42″x76″; while this size will fit on a twin-size bed, most find it is too small to cover the mattress completely. There is an update to this pattern which includes 5 additional sizes of a finished quilt. You can find it HERE. The current printed pattern contains the correct quilt size.
Let’s Stay Home Quilt Pattern
There are NO corrections for the Let’s Stay Home Quilt pattern. If you purchased a kit, the company that manufactured the kit made copies of my pattern and printed the FPP pages the wrong size. You can download the correct files below.
If you would like to double-check that your pattern is correct, you can just measure the width of the FPP patterns on the paper. The Small & Tall Houses should be 6 ½″ wide and the Large House should be 10 ½″ wide.
Scrappy Strips Pattern
The cutting guide on page 3 should read:
6 TWO inch strips cut from various fabrics – a previous version listed the measurement as 1″. All versions after 12/2020 have been corrected.
Nesting Trinket Baskets
For Medium Basket, cut two pieces of fabric 2 ½″ x 14″ (pattern only lists one piece)
